Quilted Down Blazer

Most down jackets look like they belong on a ski field. This one has a notch lapel, a two-button front and a hem that stops at the hip, so it can go over a knit to dinner and still keep the cold out on the walk there.

The underside of the collar is finished in a fine rib knit, edged with a narrow binding. It stops the collar sitting stiff and gives the front a softer line than a plain puffer.

The supplier states a down content of 86 to 90%. Horizontal stitching holds the fill in place across the back and body, so it stays evenly spread instead of sinking to the hem.
