Our story
Buying a gift for a man is not hard because men are difficult. It is hard because the things he would actually use, he has usually already replaced himself — badly — and he will tell you he needs nothing rather than make you spend money.
Most gift sites answer that with volume. Thousands of products, a search box, and the quiet assumption that if they show you enough things you will eventually pick one. We went the other way.
What we actually promise
Three things, and we would rather be judged on these than on adjectives.
- Free tracked shipping. Every order, every country we ship to, no minimum. Duties and taxes are calculated at checkout for your address, so there is nothing to pay when it lands.
- The arrival window before you pay, not after. Every product shows an estimated arrival range, and the product page has a date planner that will tell you plainly if your date will not be met.
- If it arrives damaged or does not arrive, we replace it or refund it in full. You have 30 days to tell us.
And what we don't
We ship a long way, which has consequences we would rather state here than bury in a policy page. We do not take change-of-mind returns. A gift that crosses the world twice costs more to move than it does to make, and pricing that in would mean charging every customer for the few who change their mind.
We also do not carry a warranty of our own beyond the manufacturer's, and we do not gift wrap — the pieces arrive in the maker's own packaging, which is usually better than anything we would add.
On reviews
You will not find star ratings here. We do not buy reviews and we do not write them, and a shop this size showing five stars across the board would only mean one of those two things. Instead the product pages answer the objections people actually have about gifting: will it arrive in time, what happens if it breaks, is it worth the money.
The point
A small range, chosen properly, with the awkward parts said out loud. If that means you buy one thing from us instead of browsing forty, that is the trade we wanted.
