Herringbone Belted Raglan Coat
A brown-grey herringbone overcoat with raglan sleeves, a single-breasted front and a self belt. Worn open it hangs straight like a car coat; belted, it pulls in at the waist and looks quite different.
Belted or open, it changes the whole coat.
Left open, it falls straight from the shoulder like a classic car coat. Tie the self belt and it pulls in at the waist, closer to a trench. One coat, two looks.

The sleeve runs in one piece up to the collar, with no shoulder seam. That leaves room to wear it over a blazer or a thick knit without the shoulders pulling.

Up close, the cloth is a fine herringbone with a faint darker stripe. The supplier gives the main fabric as wool in a blend with synthetic fibre, over a polyester lining.
