A diamond-shaped glass decanter that rests point-down in a dark wooden cradle, so whisky or brandy sits on the bar like a cut stone. The 850 ml size takes a standard 700 ml bottle with room to spare; the 1000 ml makes a taller centrepiece.

The body narrows to a single point, which is why it comes with its own stand. The wooden cradle holds it upright and hides the point, so all you see is the faceted glass and whatever is inside it.

Borosilicate is tougher than ordinary glass and copes better with changes in temperature. Through it, a single malt shows its whole colour range, pale honey at the shoulders and deep amber down in the point.
