Cap-Toe Leather Work Boots
Black cap-toe work boots in 2.2 mm cowhide, Goodyear-made with a leather welt and a stacked leather heel on a rubber lug sole. Because the sole is stitched on, a cobbler can replace it when it wears down.
Thick cowhide that softens as he wears it.
The upper is first-layer cowhide 2.2 mm thick. It is black on the surface with a brown core, so the cut edges show a brown line and scuffs wear in rather than flaking.

Stitched, not glued.
A leather welt is sewn to the upper and the sole is stitched to the welt. That is what lets a cobbler take the old sole off and put a new one on, so the boots can outlast several soles.

Four layers of leather and two of rubber are stacked into the heel, with the natural edge left showing. It is the detail people notice first on a work boot.

A rubber lug sole for wet pavement and gravel.
The outsole is rubber with a deep lug pattern, stitched around the edge with white thread. It grips better than leather and absorbs more of each step.

Sizes are EU. The supplier says the boot fits the same as his leather shoe size; size up for a wide foot or high instep.
