Medieval Style Ceramic Coffee Cup
Two speckled stoneware cups with solid black walnut handles, in a ribboned box with a walnut coaster and a carry bag. 245 millilitres each, and nothing left to wrap.
Stoneware cones on walnut, in a box built to be given
A pair of conical cups in speckled stoneware, each with a solid black walnut handle cut as a flat triangle with a finger hole through it — the handle stays cool because the wood does not conduct what the ceramic holds. They sit in a foam-lined box with a walnut coaster, under a ribboned lid, inside a matching carry bag. There is nothing left to wrap.
245 ml · stoneware and black walnut · boxedWood where your fingers go, ceramic where the coffee does
Most ceramic cups make you choose between a handle too small to use and a wall thick enough to be safe to hold. This one solves it by changing material at the join. The walnut is left unfinished enough to feel like wood rather than lacquer, and the coaster is turned from the same stock.
